Public Safety Announcement from The City of Martins Ferry & The Martins Ferry City School District:
There has been a major slip on Rider Alumni Road (the road leading from the School Road to State Rt. 647). In the interest of Public Safety, this road will be closed to all public traffic effective immediately! Only school buses and Emergency Vehicles will be allowed on this road until further notice. The City of Martins Ferry, School Board and Administration will continue to work together monitoring Rider Alumni Road and to research for funding. There will also be a restriction from turning left onto School Road from State Rt. 647 during restricted hours: (6:30am to 8:30am) and (2:00pm to 3:00pm).
